Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Kairo ("we", "our", or "us") is an accountless wellness and health-tracking app. This policy explains where your data is stored, when it leaves your devices, and the choices available to you.

1. Information We Collect

Kairo processes information you choose to enter or create, which may include:

If you connect Apple Health, Kairo also reads only the data types you authorize, such as activity, sleep, heart-rate, and body-measurement data. Kairo does not require your name, email address, or a Kairo account for ordinary use.

2. How We Use Your Information

Kairo uses this information to:

We do not sell personal health information or use it for targeted advertising.

3. Local Storage

Kairo's current tracking records are kept in protected local Core Data storage on your device. Kairo does not upload that tracking database to a Kairo account or Kairo server. Your device operating system, backups, and anyone with access to your unlocked device may still affect or access locally stored data under your Apple settings and terms.

4. AI Processing

After you grant online-processing consent, an AI request sends the content and context disclosed in the app through Kairo's Supabase edge relay to Anthropic, the AI provider. The fields depend on the feature and may include your message and conversation, selected health or recovery values, medication and progress context, training-plan inputs, AI tool results you request, or a photo, document, or audio recording you deliberately submit for analysis. The training-plan request may include sex, age derived from date of birth, height, activity level, current and goal weight, medication, dose, dose day, training setup, and the number of recent sessions. Requests are encrypted in transit. Supabase and Anthropic process the request and related network metadata under their applicable terms and retention practices. Kairo does not represent these requests as anonymous.

5. Subscriptions & RevenueCat

Apple processes App Store purchases. Kairo uses RevenueCat to manage subscription status. For a new accountless install, RevenueCat generates an App User ID that is intended to be anonymous; RevenueCat still processes that identifier, purchase and entitlement information, and related device, request, and diagnostic metadata. Some upgrades from older Momentum versions may retain a legacy RevenueCat identifier so an existing entitlement is not lost. Kairo also sends the current RevenueCat App User ID to its Supabase AI relay to verify paid AI access and apply service limits.

6. Legacy Momentum Migration

Kairo retains Supabase infrastructure only for optional, user-consented migration from a legacy Momentum account and for the AI relay described above. If you choose to migrate, Kairo signs in to the legacy service and copies supported records into the current local store on this device. Migration does not automatically delete the legacy account or its server data, and a migration receipt does not prove that every legacy record was copied. Legacy data remains subject to the prior service's retention and deletion process.

7. Apple Health

If you connect Apple Health, Kairo reads only data types you authorize. That data is used to calculate and display app metrics. A value derived from Apple Health may be included in an AI request only after online-processing consent and when the AI feature needs that disclosed value. You can change Health permissions in Apple settings.

8. Deletion & Your Choices

Kairo has no current Kairo account to delete. Privacy & Data includes an action that deletes Kairo tracking records from the local Core Data store, Kairo-owned scan photos and avatar files, scheduled Kairo notifications, widget data, protocol data, and Kairo preferences on the device where you use it. The action does not remove device backups, Apple Health data, App Store purchase history, RevenueCat records, or legacy Momentum server data. You can manage those items through the relevant provider or contact us for help with a legacy-data request.

9. Security

Kairo uses platform storage protections and encrypted network connections. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

Kairo is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date.

12. Feature Requests & Contact

Kairo links to an optional community feature-request board hosted by Canny. Visiting the board or posting there happens on Canny's website under Canny's terms and privacy policy; Kairo does not send your tracking data to the board.
