These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Kairo (the "App," available on the App Store as "Kairo"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Kairo is a wellness and self-tracking app. It is NOT a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Features that estimate medication levels, side-effect timelines, or other health metrics are informational estimates based on general models — not clinical measurements, and not specific to you. The dose calculator performs arithmetic on the values you enter; it never recommends a dose. Nothing in the App should be used to make decisions about your medication, dosage, diet, or health. Always consult your licensed healthcare provider regarding your medication, dosage changes, side effects, or any health decision. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something in the App. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
Kairo lets you record the medication protocol a licensed healthcare professional has prescribed or directed for you, and its compound library exists only to make that record-keeping easier. Inclusion of any compound in the library — including peptides, hormone-therapy medications, dietary supplements, and investigational or research compounds — is identification only. It is not an endorsement, not a claim of safety, efficacy, or regulatory approval, and not a suggestion to obtain or use any compound. Entries marked as research or investigational may be formulations that do not correspond to any FDA-approved product. Compounds you add yourself are recorded exactly as you enter them; Kairo has no knowledge of them. You are responsible for ensuring anything you track is lawfully prescribed or supplied to you.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Kairo. By using the App you represent that you are 18 or older.
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of any free trial, unless canceled at least 24 hours before it ends). Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Use Restore Purchases in the App to re-activate a subscription already purchased with your Apple ID. We do not offer refunds for partial periods; refund requests are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.
No Kairo account is required for current use. Your current tracking records are stored in protected local Core Data on this device and are not uploaded to a Kairo account or Kairo server. Our handling of online processors, backups, and legacy Momentum migration is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
If you consent to and explicitly use an AI feature, Kairo sends the disclosed request content through a Supabase edge relay to Anthropic for processing. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your circumstances and must not be treated as medical advice. RevenueCat processes a purchase identifier and subscription information and may be used to verify access to paid AI features.
The App lets you delete Kairo tracking records, Kairo-owned scan photos and avatar files, scheduled Kairo notifications, widget data, protocol data, and Kairo preferences from this device. The action does not delete device backups, Apple Health data, App Store or RevenueCat records, or legacy Momentum server data. There is no current Kairo account to delete.
If you had a legacy Momentum account, you may choose to sign in once and copy supported data into Kairo. Migration is optional, does not delete legacy server data, and may not cover every legacy record. A migration receipt is not a guarantee of a complete copy. You agree to use Kairo only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the App, attempt to access other users' data, or interfere with the App's operation or security.
Kairo is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that estimates, insights, or AI-generated content are accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or suitable for your circumstances. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kairo and its operators are not liable for any health decisions made based on the App, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
